Why We Built This Site
Mississippi gives the public broad access to court records, but the hard part is figuring out which office in Madison County holds the file you want. The Circuit Clerk handles felony and civil trial cases in Circuit Court, along with County Court and Youth Court records, marriage licenses, and judgment rolls. The Chancery Clerk runs Chancery Court matters such as divorce, probate, wills, estates, and guardianships, and keeps the county land records.
